Biography


Aupendu Kar is a Senior Computer Vision Researcher in Dolby's Advanced Technology Group (ATG). His research interests cover computer vision and deep learning, with special emphasis on low-level vision. Specifically, he is dedicated to designing learning frameworks by exploring the physical properties of various vision applications, including image super-resolution, dehazing, rain removal, lowlight, and underwater image enhancement. He is also interested in exploring learning algorithms for medical image analysis.
